Black Fathers are the strength of the community, both at home
and at large. They shape the very foundation we build our morals, character, strength, values, love, and devotion upon.
For three years, Black Father Appreciation Dinner has honored many fathers from various walks of life. And, we've only
just begun. It is our goal to reach out to "Every" Black Father in the Pacific Northwest, and show how much
they are loved, cherished, respected, appreciated, and honored! However, we can't do it alone!
This coming year, we're doing it with a twist! In
honor of the Brotherhood, we're seeking nominations from Black Fathers ONLY! If you're a Black Father, and know of other
Black Fathers who should be honored, this is your time. This is the Magnificience of the Brotherhood. Only YOU
can tell the story. Only YOU know what it means to have that brother, whether it be Friendship, Biological, Spiritual,
and/or Social, who can relate to your journey, because he's been there.
2010 is the year of The Magnificience of the Brotherhood!
Please don't let it pass without sharing in this momentous occasion. Please take this moment, and submit a nomination
for the Brother/Black Father you know is worthy of this honor! Know more than one? Send a nominations for them
all! In doing so, you're making your contribution to the "New Black History-Our Black Fathers.
