What people are saying about the Black Father Appreciation Events....
Dear Marcee,  I had the distinct pleasure of being one of the honored fathers at last years Black Father's Appreciation Dinner.  I am sad to say I will not be able to attend this years celebration because I am a U.S. Army Soldier currently deployed in Iraq and will not be home until Aug/Sep, but I have nominated two Men that have been more than brothers to me over the past few years.   If there is anything I can do for you or in support of the event please just let me know, I will do whatever you ask of me. Hi Marcee! Just a note of thanks from Cecil Jr. and I for a wonderful evenning of food and fellowship.  Truly it was a Grand Occasion!  The celebration of fathers cannot be overemphasized, as your organization so depthly demonstrates.  We are inspired to proclaim the same from here to forward!  Lovingly Your Family, Sharon and Cecil, Jr.

Our Black Father 2012 Events

“We live in a day where, collectively, the accomplishments of African American men are eclipsed by our faults.  A lot of what is portrayed is that we’re not good husbands, we’re not good fathers and its very seldom that I witness a group of ordinary Black men recognized and formally appreciated.  This year a committee lead by Marcee Jones went out of their way to put together a string of events recognizing Black Fathers.  Marcee, your are definitely in a class of your own and on behalf of the Black Fathers I want to say your are greatly appreciated for your work in 2010.  “Sista’ of the Year 2010” Marcee Jones”.  -- CJ Vinson
